I have deployed a new farm using XenApp 7.6. It was working fine till recently. End users were getting a Windows logon screen pop up when
they launch an application. They were able to launch app after supplying credentials second time.
Issue: Recently AD team had applied some AD polices on Citrix and application servers. After that end users were seeing that behavior.
Solution:
AD team configured the "Always prompt for password upon connection" as "Enabled" . The location of the setting is
Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates / Windows components/Remote Desktop Services/Remote Desktop Session Host/Security
I made it as "Disabled" and after that there are no "Windows logon screen" pop up.
