Citrix released XenApp 7.13 & XenDesktop 7.13

Yesterday 2/23/2017 Citrix released a CR of XenApp 7.13 & XenDesktop 7.13.

Customization of Storefront web pages

I got issues even after modifying script.js and style.css files. I couldn't see changes.


Cause: The Text is too long with breaks.


Sol:I removed breakes/gaps and made it as single line text.


Cause 2: I didn't remove one of the quotes  "/*" o& "*/" .


Sol: Removed it and it started working.

Windows logon prompt screen appears when launch Application - XenApp

I have deployed a new farm using XenApp 7.6. It was working fine till recently. End users were getting a Windows logon screen pop up when

they launch an application. They were able to launch app after supplying credentials second time.

Issue: Recently AD team had applied some AD polices on Citrix and application servers. After that end users were seeing that behavior.

Solution:

AD team  configured the "Always prompt for password upon connection" as "Enabled" . The location of the setting is

Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates / Windows components/Remote Desktop Services/Remote Desktop Session Host/Security

I made it as "Disabled" and after that there are no "Windows logon screen" pop up.
